You Know

It's time to pack it in when you and your dog have matching raincoats. Either that or get used to the 'who's walking who' jokes.

Complications

Some scattered reflections from the past 3 weeks. A pretty civilized show schedule, crossed with some pretty hectic travel. The shows were almost incidental to the places we were traveling to, and the things we were experiencing.

The rooftop bar at the Swisshotel in Osaka. They took a shot at preparing pizza and hamburgers for homesick westerners. The view was unreal once the sun went down.

Toast box restaurant in Singapore, and the mountain of butter that is occasionally slapped with a piece of white bread before it is grilled. It's almost hypnotic in it's greasy yellowness, and it's resemblance to Mt. Fuji.

The butterfly display in Singapore airport houses more species then I have seen at the conservatory of flowers and academy of sciences in SF combined, and it was in an outdoor smoking section of the airport.

Piecing together the little theramin that I bought in Japan. It makes an absolutely hellish noise that I'm sure is driving all the dogs in the neighborhood crazy.

It's nice to be home. It's nice to be in my own bed. It's nice to not really have to think about it for a little while.
